I furiosi
An 'opera by stealth' recital-video adaptation of the solo material for second voices of Händel's mid-1730s Ariosto trilogy: ORLANDO, ARIODANTE and ALCINA. A kind of 'metatext recital‘, the performance charts a path of buried post-Enlightenment malaise against a backdrop of Jean Rouch-inspired vérité documentary material taken with contemporary creatives, artists and makers.
